Ekshärads Hembygdsgård

Ekshärad´s Homestead was opened on the 23 of September 1928, which makes it the eldest in Värmland.

Living homestead (folk museum) centrally situated in Ekshärad. Many old buildings as an old inn, chalet house, Halgå brukskontor (works office), Rättarbacken with the Nils Ols room and clothes exhibishon. Many festivities during the year. Traditional valborg (30th of April) and midsummer celebrations.The folk museum can be rented for christenings or weddings with ceremony in beautiful 17th century church.

For larger groups a guided tour can be arranged.
