Arvika Konsthantverk

Arvika Konsthantverks shop has a lot of nice things! It is also Sweden's oldest arts and crafts shop in a village that is buzzing with creativity. The artist Maja Fjæstad and her colleagues formed an association in 1922 and she was its first chairman.

Since 1924, the shop, which has become the hub of the association, has been located here at Kyrkogatan 17B. Today, the shop is owned by a new generation of local craftsmen. Here they sell their creations in glass, ceramics, leather, blacksmithing, textiles, wood, silver and sometimes visual art. There is also a gallery with temporary exhibitions.
