Utsikten på Källarberget

The viewpoint on Källarberget offers sweeping views of the open sea. Depending on the season and weather, you may be greeted by flat water with only a few ripples on the surface, or foaming waves crashing over the rocks.

The viewpoint is located right next to Lotsstugan, 200 m from the parking lot. The path from the parking lot takes you past a stone square and on to the viewpoint. It then continues in a loop through the reserve and is a total of 1.4 km long.

Källarberget has an exciting geology. The ice sheet has left clear traces here in the form of ice grooves, shingle fields and pot-like formations. But the area is also interesting for birdwatchers as many seabirds pass by here during the migration season in spring and fall.

The view from Källarberget is one of Uppsala County's natural gems. A nature spot is an area with high natural and outdoor values that is accessible to visitors.
