Dyarna och Gröngarnsåsen

Gröngarnsåsen is a pleasant walking area within walking distance of the center of Enköping. The ridge itself is covered with forest and rich in paths. From the Himlabacken beauty spot, you get a view of Dyarna's pastures. In April-May, the honeysuckles bloom in the river environment. Many birds nest and rest in the pastures and reed beds. If you go out on a beautiful May evening, you may hear nightingales and other exotic birdsong. Wander around on the paths, long walkways and footpaths. You can walk a circular loop in the area of 2-3 km around the pasture or longer circles if you also choose to go up on the ridge. Along the loop around the pasture, you walk on a fairly narrow path along the river and through the reeds.

There are three parking lots for visitors to the area, and a larger parking lot at Enköping Hospital. In the northern part of Dyarna there is a wider path that makes it possible to drive a wheelchair from the parking lot at Nyängsvägen to a viewpoint by the river and the pasture, a total of 1.7 km back and forth. From the hospital, an accessible path leads to a view of Dyarna or a steeper path to Himlabacken. A parking lot west of the ridge and near Himlabacken has access from Kungsgatan south of the hospital via Thedde Jenssens gata and Hockeygatan. From here you reach Himlabacken after a short but fairly steep walk.

At the southern end of Dyarna there is a bird tower that is most easily reached from the parking lot to the south, or by foot or bicycle via the nature area's paths or the footbridge.
