Beskrivelse
Wander through the Gredelby hagar nature reserve and Trunsta träsk flower-rich land. An unusual number of plants that benefit from grazing animals thrive here. Ragweed, chickweed and cat's foot are just some of them. The spring flora is fantastic. Wood anemones, cowslips and sloe berry bushes in a beautiful mix. Towards the fall you can see different kinds of meadow mushrooms. They thrive in areas that have been grazed for a long time.
Trunsta Swamp is a wetland that was previously overgrown but has now been milled and opened up to create open water surfaces again. You can watch and listen to the bird life in the swamp from the bird tower on the hill. From here you also get a nice view of the area. In the bird tower you can read about and listen to some of the most common birds in the area. A marked path leads from the car park to the tower and continues in a loop through the area, a total of 1.3 km. There are benches for resting along the path.
Are there any more beautiful picnic spots than pastures? Gredelby hagar has many beautiful places where you can enjoy a picnic in peace and quiet. In summer there are cows in the pastures.

Fika och blomsterprakt i Gredelby
I Gredelby hagar kan alla njuta av den blommande hagmarken under sommaren! Vi testade stigen från handikapparkeringen till rastplatsen. Det är en fin plats där man direkt får uppleva den artrika hagmarken med en skymt av Trunsta träsk.
Handikapparkering
Det finns handikapparkeringen vid Högåsvägen.
Underlag
Det finns inte några iordningställda stigar i området, men det går bra att rulla från parkeringen till fikabordet ca 200 meter bort. Leden går genom betad hagmark. Underlaget varierar efter årstid. När vi testade i april var det ganska mjukt.
Rastplats
Här finns ett tillgänglighetsanpassat bänkbord som är fint placerat mitt i hagmarken. Det går bra att rulla fram till bordet.

Kommunikasjon
The easiest way to get to Gredelby hagar is to take the train or bus to Knivsta station. From the station, follow the river north and you will reach the western entrance to the nature reserve. Timetables can be found at www.ul.se.
Veibeskrivelse
Gredelby hagar is located on the northern outskirts of Knivsta.
By car: Exit the E4 at Knivsta and continue in the direction of the community. At the third roundabout you come to, after 1.5 km, turn right onto Boängsvägen. Drive about 600 m until you see a sign pointing left towards Gredelby hagar. Pay attention as the sign comes suddenly and the turn-off is not really visible from the road you are driving on.
You can also park at Knivsta station and follow the footpath along the river to the western entrance to the reserve.
