Kärleksstigen

Through the mixed deciduous forest at Västra Lund you can walk and enjoy the birdsong. Parts of the forest are managed with a nature conservation focus and along the so-called Path of Love which starts at the intersection Borenshultsvägen / Grindtorpsvägen you can enjoy the splendor of the wood anemones in the spring. Nearby is also the old slag tip Björkelundstippen, where Motala workshop previously dumped its waste from the workshop. Up on the tip, that in winter can be used as a sledding hill, there is a firesite.
North of the tip there is a more untouched forest area where the forest has a more natural forest character where on the small paths you can be offered a rich nature experience in an urban environment. The small path can be a nice path to pass, for example on a walk from Borenshult's locks by Göta Kanal.
