Beskrivelse
The Broknapparna nature reserve consists of four islands that you can reach by boat. The islands are called Lindholmen, Rönnskär and the two Broknapparna. On the islands you will find bare rocky areas with barren pine stands and deciduous forest with rich grove flora. There are old, large lime trees. The islands are of great importance for bird life. Ospreys and around fifty terns nest here. Thanks to the islands' location in Lake Mälaren and the old, coarse deciduous trees, there are also good conditions for a rich insect life.

Forskrifter
To protect the Broknapparna Nature Reserve, there are rules you must follow.
In the reserve it is forbidden to:
- destroy or damage any fixed natural object or surface formation by drilling, carving, blasting or painting
- break branches, fell or otherwise damage living or dead trees and shrubs, and otherwise damage vegetation by digging up plants such as rice, herbs, mosses or lichens
- disturbing wildlife (e.g. by climbing trees, trapping or killing mammals, birds, reptiles and amphibians)
- bringing an unleashed dog or cat
- camping for more than two consecutive days in the same place
- anchoring a boat on the same beach for more than two consecutive days
- making an open fire
- put up a board, poster, poster, sign or similar device.
