Beskrivelse
Here we find primary forests mixed with mires and a an area of more solid ground mark in the west. In the eastern part there are wet forests with lots of old-growth trees and dead wood from both spruce and birch. The area is 3.6 square kilometres in size.

Tuomikursun lies about 19 kilometres east of Tärendö in Pajala Municipality. Drive about 7 kilometres north of Tärendö, turn eastwards off road 394 in on to a logging road which leads as far as the reserve.

Tuomikursu is located about 19 kilometers east of Tärendö in Pajala municipality. Drive about 7 kilometers north of Tärendö, turn east from road 394 onto a forest road that leads to the reserve.
Forskrifter
All regulations can be found in the reserve decision. It is allowed to:
- camping - hiking - driving a snowmobile on snow-covered ground - making a small fire - picking berries and edible mushrooms - fishing and hunting in accordance with the laws in force
Littering or damaging plant and animal life is not permitted. Remember the right of public access and protect nature!
