Beskrivelse
In the scenic Bröden there are both pastures, broadleaf forests and swamp forests. There are no marked trails in the reserve, but the ground is easy to walk on and you can navigate the area with the help of the roads, which run like a cross over the area. Here you can experience traces of the past in the form of cairns, watch interesting birds or just stroll and enjoy the greenery during the summer months.
The nature is characterized by a fine mosaic of grazed wooded pastures and open former fields. The broadleaf trees oak, ash and beech play a prominent role. Swamp forests are also common and hazel grows quite abundantly in the area.

On the road between Årnarp and Mästocka, you take the exit to the south where there is a road sign saying Bröden 2. This exit is just over a mile from Årnarp and less than a mile from Mästocka. After the entrance you drive a couple of kilometers before you reach a crossroads, where you turn left. After about 150 meters on this road you reach the reserve's parking.
Forskrifter
To protect the nature reserve, the County Administrative Board has decided on special regulations, including those that you as a visitor to the area must follow and respect.
In addition to what applies under other legislation, it is forbidden to:
- camping for more than two consecutive days, but never in pastures
- drive a motorized vehicle other than on roads marked on the map in Appendix 2B,
- bring an unleashed dog. In pastures, leashed dogs may only be brought during the period November 1 - April 30, outside pastures, leashed dogs may be brought all year round,
- put up a board, poster, sign or make an inscription
- planting plant, fungal or animal species alien to the area
- damage living or dead standing or lying trees and shrubs
- damaging, picking or collecting plants. However, picking berries, edible mushrooms and individual specimens of vascular plants is permitted,
- use traps intended for invertebrates without the permission of the County Administrative Board,
- organizing camps or competitions without the permission of the County Administrative Board, and
- without the permission of the County Administrative Board, conduct scientific studies that contravene the regulations.
