Beskrivelse
The primeval forest trail starts at the main entrance and runs throughout the old part of the national park where the forest is oldest. From here you can walk around an ant trail where you pass a fire field, among other things. From the main entrance you can also reach a nice viewpoint via a wide ramp. From that spot in the old forest you have a good view of Svansjön.
At all entrances there is parking, toilets, picnic areas with fireplaces and firewood and information about the park.

Hamra National Park is located in Ljusdal municipality in Gävleborg County. You reach the national park from the E45 highway between Sveg and Orsa via a turn-off to the east from Fågelsjö. Follow the signs and after about 5 kilometers you will arrive.
