Lilla Edet - Utby, Pilgrimsleden Göta Älv, etapp 8

You leave Lilla Edet and follow the trail across the river to Ström lock. You will probably linger at both the lock area and the castle park. The trail continues along the river, past the football pitch and mixed housing. After 200 meters on road 2025, the old gravel road winds through the pastures and on over Uxåsen. A marked detour and you can have a picnic with wonderful views. You reach the Brattorpsån nature reserve, which is an idyll in the true sense of the word. Stop here and enjoy. Follow the river. Sit down and take it easy. Continue when you want. On the other side of the river are the beautifully situated farms of Brattorp. Follow the lane up to Hjärtum on the hill towards Götaälv
