Mariebergsudden

Mariebergsudden surprises with its primeval forest-like mixed forest environment. Around the cape is a marked nature trail that is easily reached from Varamostranden. Along the path there is, among other things, a firesite and a natural monument protected oak. Parts of the trail are adapted for accessibility, for example the road from Varmostranden and out to the firesite. The oak farm above the precipice was grazed by sheep in the 70s and has been overgrown for a long time. Through clearing and thinning, the pasture character has reappeared. Eventually, the grazing- and light loving flora is also expected to return.
