John Bauerleden etapp JB3 Bunn - Röttle - En del av Smålandsleden

Stage 3 of the John Bauer Trail stretches between Bunn and Röttle village and is about 15 km. Bunn is associated with John Bauer as it was here he took much of his inspiration, here also passed the Gripenbergsbanan when it happened.

The hike goes through a rural environment along small country roads and through forests and meadows. As you approach Lake Vättern and enter the Vätterbranterna, the landscape changes and you enter Västanå Nature Reserve with its beech forest and close access to Lake Vättern.

The stage ends in the picturesque village of Röttle with small red cottages, old mills and a small harbor.
