Firewood is stored in a bin by the trail, 200 m from the parking lot. There is also a handy kindling cracker on site.
Please note that there’s no guarantee that the bins will be stocked.
Another firewood storage bin is located along the in the nothern part of the nature reserve.

The wood store is a short walk from the Eldgarnsö visitor parking lot.
Forskrifter
To protect Eldgarnsö Nature Reserve, there are rules you must follow.
In the reserve it is forbidden to:
- destroy or damage solid natural objects or surface formations
- break branches, fell or otherwise damage living or dead trees and shrubs, damage vegetation in general, for example by digging up rice, herbs, grasses, mosses or lichens
- disturbing wildlife (e.g. by climbing trees, capturing or killing mammals, birds, frogs and reptiles)
- camping or mooring a boat in the same place for more than two consecutive days
- riding horses other than on roads
- making fires other than in designated places
- bring a dog or cat that is not on a leash
- drive a motorized vehicle other than on designated roads
- park other than in designated places
- use a radio, gramophone, tape recorder, musical instrument or similar in a disruptive manner
- catch or collect insects.
