Trees in this nature reserve have been affected by spruce bark beetles. There are many dead standing spruces in the forest and along paths. Dead trees may fall suddenly and without warning. Watch out and avoid visiting the nature reserve when it is windy.
Beskrivelse
Torslunda is a small nature reserve located in Sigtuna municipality that is mostly dominated by coniferous forest. The eastern areas contain pine bogs and swamp forests. Due to selective logging performed in the 1980’s, the area today lacks dead wood.
Parts of the reserve are characterised by limestone soils. These areas harbour a rich flora, with plant species such as liverwort, wood sanicle, broad-leaved helleborine and blue-green sedge. There are also many rare and endangered fungi here, such as the witches cauldron.
A number of narrow, unmarked paths run though the reserve. There are no facilities except for informational signs.

Veibeskrivelse
By car: Torslunda nature reserve is located along road 919 at Torsborg in Sigtuna municipality. There is no designated parking lot.
By public transit: There is a bus stop at Pilsbo vägskäl, approximately 200 m from the nature reserve. Another bus stop is in Skråmsta,3 km east of the nature reserve. For current information about bus numbers and timetables, visit UL.se.
Forskrifter
In order to protect the Torslunda nature reserve, please respect the following rules.
Within the reserve, it is forbidden to:
- dig, cut, drill or in any other way damage rock, soil or stone,
- break branches, fell or in any other way damage living or dead trees and bushes or dig up plants and fungi,
- camp for more than two consecutive nights,
- make a fire.
