The reserve is located southeast of Möja. To the north it borders the protected and highly valuable Krokholmsviken, an important area for boating. Within the reserve, there are several suitable places for boats to moor.

Stavsudda-Krokholmen Nature Reserve is located 5 kilometers southeast of Möja. The easiest way to get there is by boat.
Forskrifter
To protect Stavsudda–Krokholmen Nature Reserve, there are rules you must follow.
Within the reserve, it is prohibited to:
- damage or destroy natural features
- dig up plants or damage ground vegetation
- deliberately disturb wildlife
- allow dogs off leash
- camp for more than one night
- anchor a boat in the same place for more than one day
- light fires except in designated areas
- use musical instruments, sound systems, or similar equipment in a disruptive manner
