Beskrivelse
Skansholmen Nature Reserve covers the small island of Skansholmen in Lövstafjärden in Lake Mälaren. The flora is grove-like, but there are also areas with dry hillside flora. The island has a deciduous forest with lime and oak trees.
Skansholmen is used as a club islet by Kristineberg's boat club, which has jetties and some buildings on the island.

Skansholmen Nature Reserve includes the small island of Skansholmen in Lövstafjärden in Lake Mälaren between Färingsö and Järfälla. You can get here most easily by boat.
Forskrifter
To protect the Skansholmen nature reserve, there are rules you must follow.
In the reserve it is forbidden to:
- destroy or damage fixed natural objects
- dig up flowers and damage ground vegetation
- deliberately disturbing wildlife
- have an unleashed dog or cat
- camping for more than two consecutive days
- anchoring a boat in the same place for more than two days
- make fires other than in the designated place
- use musical instruments, music systems or similar in a disruptive manner
