Beskrivelse
Täby church is a stone church from the end of the 13th century with ceiling paintings by the famous Albertus Pictor in the 1480s. Before the church was built, this may have been the site of the Jarlabanke farm. In the wall of the porch are two parts of a rune stone. The stone was carved in the 11th century and tells of Holme who died in present-day Italy. It is thought that Holme was one of the many Scandinavians who served the emperor in the Byzantine Empire.

Runriket is located about 2.5 miles north of Stockholm. The gateway to Runriket, Jarlabanke Bridge, is located in Täby Church Village. You can get here by bus from Danderyd Hospital or by Roslagsbanan. You can also start the tour in Vallentuna. Visit sl.se for travel information.
