Beskrivelse
The M 20 is a Minsvepare Mindre built at Neglingevarvet in Stockholm and launched in 1941.
During World War II, when M 20 was stationed in the Sound for patrols and mine clearance, she rescued 100 Danish Jews fleeing across the Sound.
The hull is built in mahogany on iron frames and the superstructure in aluminum has a length of 27.7 meters and is five meters wide. The draught is two meters. Propulsion is provided by two Scania Vabis DS 11s, each with 265 horsepower.
The minesweeper_M 20_ is owned by the National Maritime and Transport History Museums. The M 20 Association is responsible for and operates the ship.
