Does this place look messy to you?! Major restoration work is currently underway in Häverö prästäng nature reserve. We aim to restore pastures and meadow for the benefit of animal and plant diversity. Shrub vegetation and spruce will be removed to give space to deciduous trees and pine trees. The grazing and trampling of cows will further improve the living conditions and create habitats for plants, insects and other animals. In the meantime: Thanks for your patience!

By the entrance you will find a sizeable parking lot with an informational sign, as well as a picnic area with a simple outdoor toilet.

Veibeskrivelse
By public transit: Häverö Prästäng is located 5 km from the nearest bus stop Herräng, and is therefore not easily accessible by public transit. For current information, see: SL.se
By car: Drive towards Hallstavik and then towards Herräng. At the turn-off towards Herräng, drive then towards Mörtö. After approximately 600 m, turn left and follow the signs towards Häverö Prästäng.
Forskrifter
In order to protect the Häverö prästäng nature reserve, please respect the following rules.
Within the reserve, it is forbidden to:
- burn, drill, carve, paint or in any other way damage exposed bedrock or boulders,
- dig up plants or damage living or dead trees or bushes,
- bring dogs, cats, or other pets that are not on a leash,
- deliberately disturb wildlife,
- camp on the meadows,
- camp or anchor a boat for more than two consecutive nights in the same place,
- make an open fire,
- ride horses,
- operate motorised vehicles anywhere outside of designated marked roads and trails,
- park motor vehicles anywhere outside of designated parking places.
