Beskrivelse
The reserve includes the island of Halsfambaken and the adjacent skerries Lindfambaksklunsarn.Halsfambaken is covered in spruce forest with a wetland strip across the island. On the northeastern side of the island there is a 500 meter long rocky beach that is well suited for swimming.
There are no outdoor recreation facilities in the reserve, apart from information signs.

Forskrifter
To protect the Halsfambakken Nature Reserve, there are rules you must follow.
In the reserve it is forbidden to
- destroy or damage fixed natural objects
- dig up flowers and damage ground vegetation
- deliberately disturbing wildlife
- having an unleashed dog or other pet
- mooring a boat at the same place for more than two days
- camping in the same place for more than two days
- make fires other than in the designated place
- use musical instruments, music systems or similar in a disruptive manner
