Beskrivelse
The forest in Ersmossen Nature Reserve consists mostly of old forest with few traces of forestry. The forest is rich in old spruce and pine, occasional older aspens and standing and lying dead wood in various stages of decomposition. There is also damp swamp forest and land with elements of limestone, as well as rocky areas with late-growing trees. In parts of the area, there is an abundance of beautiful hanging lichen.
There are no outdoor recreation facilities in the reserve, apart from information signs.

Veibeskrivelse
The nature reserve is located north of road 1100 between Häverödal and Älmsta. Along this road is also the nearest bus stop, Örängen, about 800 meters from the southern part of the reserve.
There is no parking lot next to the reserve.
Forskrifter
To protect the Ersmossen Nature Reserve, there are rules you must follow.
In the reserve it is forbidden to:
- dig, hack, drill or otherwise damage rock, soil or stone
- cutting down or damaging living or dead trees or bushes
- damage vegetation by digging up plants or removing woody fungi.
