At a short walking distance from the entrance area, you’ll find a fire pit and benches with a pleasant view of the Gammelmansfladen bay.

Bring your own firewood if you plan to light a fire. Make sure the fire is completely extinguished before leaving the area.

Purpose of the national park: To preserve a representative and varied marine and archipelago landscape in the Baltic Sea in an essentially unchanged state.

The fire pit is reached via a path from the entrance area. Follow signs and black trail markings.

Forskrifter

Within the national park there are specific rules, regulations, for
what you can and cannot do. In addition to
the national park regulations, there are also fishing rules and water traffic regulations.

**NATIONAL PARK RULES IN BRIEF

  • You may only light fires in designated areas or on bone grills. You may also use outdoor kitchens.
  • During the periods in question, you are not allowed in areas where access is prohibited (so-called bird protection areas).
  • Your dog must always be on a leash. This also applies to other pets.
  • On Tärnskär, it is completely forbidden to bring dogs or other pets during the period April 1 to July 31.
  • You can camp for up to two days in the same place in almost the entire national park. On Bullerö there is a campsite where you can camp for up to seven days. In some areas of the national park it is forbidden to camp, put up a hammock or similar.
  • You may anchor or moor a ship in the same place for up to two consecutive days.
  • You may not drive a motorized vessel faster than 5 knots within 100 meters of land.
  • In certain particularly sensitive areas, it is prohibited to anchor, drive a motorized vessel or operate any type of vessel (boat, kayak, SUP board, etc.).
  • Fishing is prohibited all year round in certain areas.
  • You are not allowed to take off or land by aircraft, drone or similar.

You must not break branches or otherwise damage living
or dead trees or bushes.

You must not dig up plants, pick or collect mosses
or lichens, or remove attached algae, mussels or wood-boring fungi.

You must not damage rock, stone or soil by, for example
carving, drilling or painting. You must not remove rock from the area or
build stone towers.

You must not disturb other visitors or wildlife, for example
for example, by playing excessively loud music or leaving boats idling for
for an extended period of time.
