Beskrivelse
Ekholmen is well worth a visit. Mighty old oaks remind us of the former more open landscape. A landscape that we try to recreate and favor through grazing. Here the visitor can stroll around in a unique environment. Beautiful views of Lake Aspen. On the oak island there is the opportunity to have a coffee at the picnic area located out on the peninsula.

Veibeskrivelse
If you travel by public transport, the nearest bus stop is "Hågelby". By car you can park at Hågelbyparken and from there you can walk past the riding house at Skrävsta, alternatively you can park at the riding house, and follow the aspen nature trail that goes around Lake Aspen. From there it is signposted to the reserve.
Forskrifter
Special regulations apply to protect the natural values in Ekholmen nature reserve. Among other things, it is forbidden to damage the land, plants, trees or wildlife, to light fires and to keep dogs unleashed.
Certain activities, such as prolonged camping, major events or the erection of signs, require municipal permission. If you are planning an activity that contravenes the regulations, you need to apply for a permit or exemption in advance.
