This
nature reserve has scattered infestations of spruce bark beetles. It
means that there are a lot of dead standing spruces in the forest and
along paths. The spruces may fall suddenly and without warning. Watch
out and avoid visiting the nature reserve when it is windy.
Beskrivelse
The area in Edebo-Sättra utskogs nature reserve was used as meadowland until the turn of the century 1900. Traces of an older fence indicate that the surrounding forest was used for forest grazing.
There are no outdoor recreation facilities, apart from information signs, in the reserve.

Veibeskrivelse
The reserve is located about 5 km west of Hallstavik. A visitor parking lot for both Edebo-Sättra utskog and Grundsjömossarnas nature reserve is located about 1.2 km southwest of the reserve. From the parking lot there is a hiking trail that leads to the reserve.
Forskrifter
To protect the Edebo-Sättra utskogs nature reserve, there are rules you must follow.
In the reserve it is forbidden to:
- drill, hack, blast, carve, dig, paint or in any way damage rock, soil or stone
- break branches, fell or otherwise damage living or dead trees and shrubs
- dig up plants such as rice, herbs, mosses or lichens or remove woody fungi.
