Beskrivelse
Tullgarn near Trosa in Sörmland is one of the most popular royal destinations. The royal summer palace, less than an hour's drive from Stockholm, offers visitors a treat for body and soul. The austere facade surprises with light interiors in a style mix of Rococo, Gustavian and Victorian. Tullgarn is associated with King Gustaf V and Queen Victoria, who spent their summers here in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Tullgarn Castle is surrounded by a large and beautiful castle park that invites you to stroll or picnic. You can also take a dip from the jetty! The castle is surrounded by flower beds, linden avenues and lawns, and the courtyard overlooks the sea. There are also two cozy cafés - Victoria's Stables and the Orangery, and an inn with B&B.

Tullgarn is located by the sea just over 6 miles south of Stockholm and 1 mile north of Trosa.
Car: E 4 south past Södertälje. Follow signs from the E4 towards Tullgarn Castle. E 4 north past Nyköping. Follow signs from the E4 towards Tullgarn Castle. Good parking facilities.
Public transport: Commuter train to Södertälje harbor change to commuter train towards Järna. Then bus 502 to Tullgarns allé. Walk just over a kilometer from the bus to the Inn on the way you pass the Orangery.
Boat: Tullgarn has a small guest pier for those who come by sea. No regular boat traffic.
Tullgarn is located in Stockholm county so it is possible to take the ferry service here.
There are several hiking and biking trails in the area.
