Bird paradise in the middle between Nyköping and Oxelösund
Strandstuviken Nature Reserve is one of the county's most valuable resting places for migratory birds, around 250 species have been observed here. The area consists of a couple of narrow protruding headlands and two shallow bays, Snäckviken and Strandstuviken, which are completely open to the sea.
8-kilometer loop on the Sörmlandsleden trail
At the unusually shallow beaches, which are suitable for both swimming and for a beautiful walk along the water, you can also see the vast beach meadows. Further inland, there are forest areas of varying types, ranging from rocky pine forests to oak groves.

Parkering
There is a parking lot at Strandstuvikens camping.
Kommunikasjon
Take bus 2 towards Arnö and get off at the bus stop Strandstuviksvägen. From there it is a few kilometers to the nature reserve.
In summer there is a bathing bus to Strandstuguviken bathing area.
Veibeskrivelse
The reserve is located on the Baltic coast between Nyköping and Oxelösund. The easiest way to reach it by car is to follow the road south of Nyköping, at Arnö, eastwards towards Strandstuviken's camping and bathing area. From the parking lot there is a path to the reserve.
