Källby area - Höjeådalen

From Sankt Larsparken to the railway bridge.

If you start the walk in Sankt Larsparken and follow the path west along the Höje river, you will find a fishing platform, a barbecue area with benches and a nice viewpoint over the river just before a gate. When we go through the gate, we leave the park behind us and a large pasture opens up.

The river meanders softly and invitingly through the landscape. A few old willows still stand on the bank and lean magically over the river. Here you feel real close contact with the river. The south side is densely vegetated and forms a green wall in summer. The north side is easy to walk with a prepared path. If you turn to the north, you can see Klostergården's residential area, which has now expanded with several new houses closer to the river. There is also a path here that you may sometimes need to use when the water level is high and the path closest to the river is flooded.

There are several places in Lund municipality that are suitable to visit and experience for educational activities with groups of children or pupils. We have chosen to call them outdoor classrooms.
