Beskrivelse
The nature reserve Stenberget is located right next to a quarry. The reserve was set aside mainly because of its Quaternary geological values.
In connection with the quarrying activities, a crack containing a powerful sequence of layers with loose sediments was exposed. The sequence was found to represent the geological evolution from 150 000 years ago until 13 000 years ago. Together with the surrounding rocks, the fissure is a valuable area for studying the course of the last glaciation and the climate development over the last 80,000 years. The rest of the reserve consists mainly of deciduous forest and arable land.
**The nature reserve is difficult to access for the public and the parts closest to the steep cliff of the quarry are cordoned off.

In addition to regulations and prohibitions in other laws and regulations, it is forbidden to:
- altering the surface or drainage conditions of the area, digging, blasting, drilling, excavating, draining, filling or otherwise working loose deposits
- setting fires
- removing fossil material
- affixing any board, placard, poster, sign, inscription or similar device.
