The planted pine forest in Haboljungs fure is today a popular hiking area that is gradually developing into a natural forest. Here you will find a rich wildlife. Great spotted woodpecker, kingfisher and black tit, and the mammal fauna in the area includes deer, wild boar and fox. Haboljungs fure is a municipal nature reserve.
Planted pine forest in development
The forest in Haboljungs fure is quite young and was planted in the 1950s to prevent sand drift. In some places in the reserve, you can see that the trees stand in spiky rows. Since the 1950s, the forest has been left more or less untouched and in some places has begun to develop a natural forest character. Storms have felled trees and created clearings, giving new tree species the opportunity to grow. The sandy soil is home to a rich insect life, and together people and horses help to keep the land open.
Wildlife
Many of our common forest birds thrive in Haboljung's furrow, including the great spotted woodpecker, kingfisher and black tit. Great crested grebes occur and great horned owls are regularly seen in the reserve. The mammal fauna in the area includes deer, wild boar and fox.

- disturb the surroundings

Full regulations for visitors
In addition to regulations and prohibitions in other laws and regulations, it is forbidden to:
- dig, drill, paint or otherwise damage soil and rock
- break branches, fell or otherwise damage living or dead trees and shrubs or otherwise damage vegetation by digging up plants such as rice, herbs, mosses or removing lichens or woody fungi
- bring an unleashed dog or other loose pet, otherwise hunting legislation applies
- disturb, collect or kill animals
- catch or collect insects, spiders, snails, worms or other invertebrates
- put up a picture, poster, billboard, sign, inscription or similar
- use a music or sound system in a disruptive manner and use or drive vehicles or machines in a disruptive manner
- driving a motorized vehicle or craft, with the exception of assistive vehicles required to overcome disabilities
- light an open fire other than in a specially designated and prepared place if one is available
- dumping waste such as garden waste, compost material, stones, rubbish or similar in the area
- set up a caravan, camping car or similar
- hunt, with the exception of protective hunting, or use any form of firearm
- without the municipality's permission, organize competitions or other events that may counteract the purposes of the area
