Beskrivelse
For those who like to ride mountain bikes, there is a mountain bike course, an MTB course, in Orup's recreational area. The MTB track is made possible through a collaboration between the Frosta Multisport association, the landowner and Höör municipality. Frosta Multisport is responsible for maintenance and development.
Orup's recreational area is primarily intended for pedestrians on the regular exercise trails, while the black marking is intended for MTB cycling.
On Orupsberget you will find beautiful nature and exciting traces of older times. There are burial mounds and abandoned farm plots hidden in the greenery. At the top of the hill is the old Orup sanatorium. The paths are easy to walk. One is paved and works well for those who need a slightly smoother surface.
Rules for cycling at Orup:
- All cycling is only on the designated MTB trail in the Orup hiking area.
- It is not permitted to create new MTB trails on your own.
- It is not allowed to change the existing track or its structure on your own.
- When meeting any pedestrians, pedestrians with dogs or horse-drawn carriages in the MTB trail, the cyclist must slow down and possibly stop so that priority is given.
