Beskrivelse
Fria bad, or Örestrandsbadet as it is actually called, is Helsingborg's Copacabana. The beach is centrally located in Helsingborg but still offers sun and swimming on a real sandy beach.
The beach is busy all year round, at all times of the day. In the morning, a crowd from the neighboring residential areas comes in bathrobes and sandals, during the day families with children take over, and in the afternoon and evening it is the beach for young people.
At Fria Bad you are close to both restaurants and kiosks.

Parking is available at Drottningatan in very close proximity to the bathing area.
Veibeskrivelse
Via public transport you can get from Helsingborg C with bus number 8 to the stop for Helsingborgs Friabad. If you prefer to cycle or walk, you will find the bathing area about 1.5km from the central station.
