Beskrivelse
The reserve is just over 60 ha and is located 10 kilometers north of Kristbergs church in Motala. The area is part of a cluster of valuable forest areas that are characterized by rock and bog mosaics with mostly sparse natural pine forest. The nature reserve also has a hight and elements of more nutritious land. The natural values are linked to the late-grown spruces, the old pines and the mouldering wood of mainly pine. The area is also an important reproduction area for capercaillies.
The nature reserve is managed by Länsstyrelsen Östergötland.

Veibeskrivelse
Reservatet ligger ca 10 km norr om Kristbergs kyrka. Ta länsväg 211 (Borensberg-Tjällmo). Ca 10 km norr om Borensberg (i höjd med Lund) sväng av mot Karlsby. Följ vägen (nr 1100) ca 4,4 km, in på skogsbilsvägen till höger finns en parkeringsficka.
