In the summer of 2011, a conservation burn was carried out in the pine forest at Stora Holmen. Many unusual fire-dependent insects and plants now had a chance to survive! The hiking trail runs through the burn area, among other places. To make a circular loop, you can choose the Sörmlandsleden or the small road.
