Svartå gamla bruk

At the outlet of Lake Lill-Björken was the lower mill in Svartå, which operated from the mid-17th century to the mid-19th century, when operations were moved to the upper mill at the present Svartå community. The remaining buildings at the falls are the mill and power station that were operated after the mill era. Other buildings include Svartå Herrgård, where the main stone building dates from the 1780s, while the wings of reverted wood are slightly older. The manor now houses a restaurant, hotel and conference facility.
