The nature reserve is located about 9 km northwest of Hjortkvarn. From Hjortkvarn: take road 51 north and turn left after the sawmill towards Haddebo, turn left there and drive through Haddebo west, past the exit road towards Gryt and then turn right just before Gamla kvarn. After just over 2 kilometers, turn left and drive for just under a kilometer and you will arrive at the reserve's southern parking lot. If you are coming on road 51 from the north: after Glottra, turn right on the exit road towards Haddebo.

In the nature reserve it is forbidden to:

• drill, hack, blast, dig, carve, paint or otherwise damage rock, the earth's surface, stone or to move or remove stone,
• drive a motorized vehicle
• felling, removing or otherwise damaging living or dead standing or fallen trees and bushes
• damage vegetation in general, e.g. by digging up plants such as rice, grass, herbs, mosses or lichens; the ban does not apply to berry, mushroom and flower picking for personal use
• cycling or horse riding
• make a fire other than in a designated place or on an ice-covered lake, and then only with firewood brought along or provided by the manager
• deliberately disturb wildlife other than what normally occurs when hunting and fishing.
• during the period 15 April to 15 August, go ashore on the island of Fiskgjuseholmen or drive a boat within 100 meters of the island's shoreline.
• without the permission of the County Administrative Board, use the area for organized competitions or exercises, camp activities or similar.
