Beskrivelse
Yttre Storberget is a so-called till-capped hill. This means that the summit of the mountain never lay below the sea surface when Sweden was pressed down after the latest ice age. However, the slopes show clear traces of wave action. There is washed exposed bedrock and in several places the ground is rocky and scoured out. The forest in the area has burned several times and different areas look slightly different depending on how much and how often it has burned. Here you find plenty of interesting and rare species. The area is 2 square kilometres in size.

Kommunikasjon
Yttre Storberget lies 7 kilometres north of Valvträsk. From Kvarntjärn there is a logging road towards the reserve.
Veibeskrivelse
Yttre Storberget is located about 7 kilometers north of Valvträsk. A forest road leads up to the reserve from Kvarntjärn.
Forskrifter
All regulations can be found in the reserve decision. It is allowed to:
- camping
- hike
- make a fire, remember to bring your own wood!
- pick berries and edible mushrooms
- drive snowmobiles on snow-covered ground
- fish and hunt in accordance with the laws in force
It is not allowed to harm plant and animal life. Remember the right of public access and protect nature!
