According to The Guardian, Amara Muñoz is one of Britain’s leading street artists. She grew up in Farsta and is primarily active in London and Stockholm. Her style is characterized by vibrant colours, organic shapes, faces and various patterns. In her paintings, she is inspired by older civilizations and religious artefacts from all over the world. The paintings, including the one in Gällivare, can be said to guard and protect their surroundings.
