The nature reserve Västra Gangsjajaure is a flat mire and forest area on a large promontory area between three lakes, Västra Gangsjajaure, Dippajaure and Välbma. The area is 3 square kilometres in size.

The reserve lies about 18 kilometres northwest of Suddesjaur . The logging road Dippavägen north of Östansjö passes the reserve. It lies about 10 km north of Östansjö.

The reserve is located about 18 kilometers northwest of Sudddesjaur. The forest road Dippavägen north of Östansjö goes past the reserve. It is located about 1 mile north of Östansjö.
Forskrifter
All regulations can be found in the reserve decision. It is allowed to:
- camping
- hike
- make a fire - bring your own wood!
- pick berries and edible mushrooms
- drive snowmobiles on snow-covered ground
- fish and hunt in accordance with the laws in force
It is not allowed to damage plant and animal life. Remember the right of public access and protect nature!
