Beskrivelse
The reserve lies in the inner Piteå archipelago and comprises the forested island of Lill-Rönnskäret, Storstensrevet and three shallows rich in birdlife in the north and east part of the reserve. Species that nest here include Eider and Greylag Goose. The area is 1.5 square kilometres and there is a ban on snowmobiling on the islands. Special regulations apply for hunting in the nature reserve. For some of the islands there is a ban on going ashore between 1 May – 31 July. Forskrifter
All regulations can be found in the reserve decision. It is allowed to:
- camping
- hiking
- make a fire, but not directly on rocks. Remember to bring your own firewood
- pick berries and edible mushrooms
- fish in accordance with the laws in force
Special rules apply to hunting in the nature reserve. Some of the islands have a landing ban from May 1 to July 31, see map of the area. You can read more about this and about hunting in the reserve decision.
It is not permitted to drive snowmobiles on the islands or to damage plant and animal life. Remember the right of public access and protect nature!
