Beskrivelse
In the vicinity of Jokkmokk you find Tilak Nature Reserve - the realm of the old-growth pine. It is not commonplace to walk among old-growth pine in Sweden, but here in Tilak you can pat a 500-year-old. It was a little pine sapling in the 16th century! The area is 0.4 square kilometres in size.

Kommunikasjon
The nature reserve lies about 6 kilometres northwest of Jokkmokk town centre. Suitable ways to get there are either from the south off road 97 close to Nelkerim or from the north close to Juggijaur. There is a road barrier on the road near the reserve, so you have to walk three kilometres to get to the reserve.
Veibeskrivelse
The nature reserve is located approximately 6 kilometers northeast of central Jokkmokk. The most suitable access to the area from a public road is either from the south from road 97 near Nelkerim or from the north near Juggijaur.
Forskrifter
All regulations can be found in the reserve decision. It is allowed to:
- camping
- hike
- make a fire, remember to bring your own wood!
- pick berries and edible mushrooms
- drive snowmobiles on snow-covered ground
- fish and hunt in accordance with the laws in force
It is not allowed to harm plant and animal life. Remember the right of public access and protect nature!
