Beskrivelse
The nature reserve stretches around Kautujärvenoja stream and contains waterlogged forests, Myers and coniferous forest with plenty of old-growth aspen. The vegetation around the stream is verdant and flooded every year. The tall growing Ostrich Fern thrives nearest the stream. Here you find aspen with a trunk diameter of 70 centimetres, which is very unusual in today's forest landscape. The area is 0.7 square kilometres in size.

Kommunikasjon
The nature reserve lies about 25 kilometres southeast of Hakkas in the southern part of Gällivare Municipality. A logging road heading westwards from the E10 at Skröven passes the village of Talvirova and continues as far as the reserve. You can alternatively hike on a trail from Torrivaara.

The nature reserve is located about 25 kilometers southeast of Hakkas in the southern part of Gällivare. A forest road to the west from the E10 at Skröven goes via the village of Talvirova to the reserve, or you can walk on a path from Torrivaara.
Forskrifter
All regulations can be found in the reserve decision. It is allowed to:
- camping
- hike
- make a fire, remember to bring your own wood!
- pick berries and edible mushrooms
- drive snowmobiles on snow-covered ground
- fish and hunt in accordance with the laws in force
It is not allowed to harm plant and animal life. Remember the right of public access and protect nature!
