Beskrivelse
In the abundance of species in Täljstensskogen forest the lime-rich bedrock has created conditions for a floral treasure trove. Here you also find limestone cliffs and a soapstone rock face with inscriptions. This is truly something for both geologically and botanically inclined visitors! The area is 0.2 square kilometres in size. There is no car park.

The nature reserve lies about 7 kilometres southwest of Junosuando. The nearest road to the reserve is from Junosuando via the village of Lautakoski, but the last stretch must be covered on foot. From Lautakoski there are small logging roads, but they are sometimes closed off.

The nature reserve is located about 7 kilometers southwest of Junosuando. The closest road to the reserve is from Junosuando via the village of Lautakoski. There is no public road to drive all the way to the reserve, you have to walk the last bit. From Lautakoski there are smaller forest roads leading to the reserve, but these are sometimes blocked. There is no designated parking lot. It is best to park along one of the smaller roads nearby and walk the last bit.
Forskrifter
All regulations can be found in the reserve decision. It is allowed to:
- camp
- make a fire, use loose twigs and branches but do not make a fireplace
- pick berries and edible mushrooms
- drive snowmobiles on well snow-covered ground
- fish and hunt in accordance with the laws in force.
Among other things, it is not allowed to damage plant and animal life. Remember the right of public access and protect nature!
