Beskrivelse
Here you find three lakes, of which Svanaträsket in the northern part has given the reserve its name. Waterlogged mixed forest grows along its western side. In addition to waterlogged forests there are also dry forest areas rich in lichen and large wetlands. The area is 2.2 square kilometres in size.

The nature reserve lies about 12 kilometres southeast of Kåbdalis. A turning from a logging road which runs between Njakaure and Johannestorp passes the reserve.

The nature reserve is located about 12 kilometers southeast of Kåbdalis. A branch road from a forest road that runs between Njakaure and Johannestorp passes the reserve.
Forskrifter
All regulations can be found in the reserve decision. It is allowed to:
- camping
- hike
- build a small fire
- picking berries and edible mushrooms
- drive snowmobiles on well-snowed ground
- fishing and hunting in accordance with applicable laws
Among other things, it is not allowed to damage plant and animal life or to litter. Remember the right of public access and protect nature!
