Beskrivelse
Skags-Furuholmen is an island covered in coniferous forest which rises to no more than 15 metres a s l. The forest consists above all of pine, but to some extent also spruce. The reserve also includes the islands of Skagsgrundet and Furuholmsgrundet. The area is 0.6 square kilometres in size and there is a ban on snowmobiling on the islands. There are also special regulations for hunting, see the reserve designation.

Forskrifter
All regulations can be found in the reserve decision. It is allowed to:
- camping
- hiking
- make a fire, but not directly on rocks. Remember to bring your own firewood!
- pick berries and edible mushrooms
- fish in accordance with the laws in force
Special rules apply to hunting in the nature reserve, which you can read more about in the reserve decision. It is not permitted to drive snowmobiles on the islands or to damage plant and animal life. Remember the right of public access and protect nature!
