Beskrivelse
Here you can walk up on exposed bedrock in old-growth virgin forest. From any of the mountain's you can look out over the beautiful river landscape. For the inquisitive there is a primary forest to discover where rare insect, lichen and birds have their habitats. Räktjärvsberget has in places demanding terrain, and there are no trails in the area. The area is 8.8 square kilometres in size.

Räktjärvsberget is situated about 20 kilometres north-northwest of Morjärv and about 8 kilometres south- southeast of Svartbyn. You can reach the reserve either from Morjärv to the south via road 356 and then nearby logging roads, or from Svartbyn to the north via logging roads.

Forskrifter
All regulations can be found in the reserve decision. It is allowed to:
- hike
- camping
- make a fire - bring your own firewood
- picking berries and edible mushrooms
- driving snowmobiles on well-snow-covered ground
- fishing and hunting in accordance with the laws in force
It is not allowed to harm plant and animal life. Remember the right of public access and protect nature!
