Beskrivelse
You can take a bus from Luleå town centre to this municipal nature reserve. The reserve includes large parts of Hertsölandet and some of Ormberget recreational area. For visitors there are hiking trails with information, hearths and wind shelters. In Hertsöträsket permit holders can angle. The whole area is 21.6 square kilometres in size. The use of snowmobiles is permitted only on specially designated snowmobile trails.

There is parking, among other places at Ormberget recreational facility and Lake Hertsöträsket.
Kommunikasjon
The reserve lies directly adjacent to Luleå community. To get to Hertsölandet drive or take the Hertsön bus and then on to Lövskärsvägen so that you reach the reserve. To get to Ormberget drive along the road or take a bus towards Björkskatan – there is a signpost for Ormberget. The bus stops at the foot of the slalom slope.
Veibeskrivelse
The reserve is located directly adjacent to Luleå city. To Hertsölandet drive towards Hertsön and continue on Lövskärsvägen and you will reach the reserve. To Ormberget drive the road towards Björkskatan sign is for Ormberget.
Forskrifter
All regulations can be found in the reserve decision. It is allowed to:
- camping
- hike
- make a fire in the designated area
- picking berries and edible mushrooms
- fishing and hunting in accordance with applicable laws
Special rules apply to motorized traffic in the nature reserve, you can read more about this in the reserve decision. It is not permitted to damage plant and animal life. Remember the right of public access and protect nature!
