A suitable route to the reserve is from the Kalix road southeast of the reserve. Via road 865 turn off towards the nature reserve, signposted Paulujärvi halfway between the Kalix river and Kääntöjärvi. Follow the road and keep left after about 7 kilometres, continue almost another 2 kilometres and then you have a large gravel area on the left way you can park the car.

A suitable access road to the reserve is from Kalixvägen southeast of the reserve. Via road 865 turn off towards the nature reserve, signposted Paulujärvi midway between the Kalix River and Kääntöjärvi. Follow the road and keep left after about 7 kilometers, continue almost 2 kilometers more and you have a larger gravel field on the left side to park the car on.

All regulations can be found in the reserve decision. It is allowed to:

• camping
• hiking
• make a fire, with loose branches and twigs
• picking berries and edible mushrooms
• driving snowmobiles on snow-covered ground
• fishing and hunting in accordance with the laws in force

Among other things, it is not allowed to damage plant and animal life. Remember the right of public access and protect nature!
