Beskrivelse
Here you find plenty of moist environments, including everything from mires to waterlogged forests. The forests contain a good deal of valuable dead wood. Through the entire nature reserve, a stream flows which empties into Lake Posjärv. The area is 1.2 square kilometres in size.

Långlandet lies about 19 kilometres northwest of Överkalix. From road 391 between Alsån and Hirvijärvi a logging road enters, which leads further northwards to the nature reserve.

Långlandet is located about 19 kilometers northeast of Överkalix. From road 391 between Alsån and Hirvijärvi, there is a forest road that leads further north to the nature reserve.
Forskrifter
All regulations can be found in the reserve decision. It is allowed to:
- hiking - camping - making fires - picking berries and edible mushrooms - driving snowmobiles on snow-covered ground - fishing and hunting in accordance with the laws in force
It is not allowed to damage plant and animal life. Remember the right of public access and protect nature!
