Knivberget is a difficult-to-access virgin forest reserve, surrounded by contorta pine forests. In the north-western part there are mires with juniper, willow and sparse primary forest. The nature reserve Knivberget is 0.9 square kilometres in size.

Knivberget mountain lies about 15 kilometres north-northwest of Arvidsjaur. No roads reach as far as the mountain. The closest you can drive is via a logging road northwest from road 45 at Norra Näverliden.

Knivberget is located about 15 kilometers north-northeast of Arvidsjaur. No road goes all the way to the mountain. The closest way is via a forest road northwest from road 45 at Norra Näverliden.
Forskrifter
All regulations can be found in the reserve decision. It is allowed to:
- camp
- make a fire, remember to bring your own wood!
- pick berries and edible mushrooms
- drive snowmobiles on snow-covered ground
- fish and hunt in accordance with the laws in force
It is not allowed to harm plant and animal life. Remember the right of public access and protect nature!
